The International People’s Tribunal (IPT) is a quasi-judicial forum, previously convened in 2005, 2015, and 2018, which aims to investigate and address alleged war crimes and violations of International Humanitarian Law committed by the US-supported regimes in the Philippines.
In 2024, the IPT charged Defendants President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., former President Rodrigo Duterte, and US President Joe Biden with violations of International Humanitarian Law, or war crimes, against the Filipino people.
Our webinar will cover the 2024 IPT, including witness testimony, the Tribunal’s verdict and findings, and the perspective of ICHRP in responding to the verdict through international advocacy for human rights in the Philippines.
