Free Them All: A Webinar on Political Prisoners in the Philippines

The International Coalition for Human Rights in the Philippines (ICHRP) invites you to join an online webinar and forum on December 3 to mark a Global Day of Solidarity with Political Prisoners in the Philippines and encourage international support of political prisoners in the country. The online forum will begin at 9am Eastern Standard Time / 3pm Central Europe Standard Time on December 3, 2025.

While massive protests calling for accountability for corrupt politicians have erupted over the last two months in the Philippines, 737 political prisoners remain incarcerated, including women, elderly, and the sick. While the current US-supported Marcos regime and their cronies face accusations of massive theft from public funds, peasants activists, unionists, indigenous people, journalists and NDFP peace consultants face cruel prison conditions under fabricated charges and malicious “terrorist” labels.

This December 3, ICHRP is seeking to promote the real situation of political prisoners in the Philippines, highlight how their struggle is linked to the overall struggle for human rights and peace in the Philippines, and to inspire international solidarity.

In this time of increasing political repression, we hope you will join in support of political prisoners in the Philippines and the people’s struggle for peace, justice and human rights.
